Documentary released on anniversary of Operation Sindoor

Today marks the completion of one year of Operation Sindoor. To mark the first anniversary, Defence Minister Rajnath Singh released Operation Sindoor documentary at Joint Commanders’ Conference, Jaipur. The defence minister also praised the mission as a benchmark for modern warfare. The operation demonstrated India’s preparedness to deal with national security challenges and its defence capabilities.

Operation Sindoor was launched on May 07 last year in response to Pahalgam terror attack. India carried out strikes on nine terror infrastructures in Pakistan and Pakistan-Occupied Kashmir killing more than 100 terrorists.

“On the anniversary of Operation Sindoor, we salute the valour and sacrifices of our armed forces, whose courage and dedication continue to safeguard the nation,” defence minister said.

Rajnath Singh is at join commanders’ conference to review India’s national security challenges and the military’s combat readiness.

Operation Sindoor showcased India’s exceptional air power capabilities. Precision strikes, suppression of enemy air defences, and rapid force projection enabled India to seize initiative in critical sectors.

India hit a total of nine airbases in Pakistan destroying key infrastructure. Operation Sindoor revealed that modern warfare is a contest of systems, not platforms. India’s future training must integrate conventional warfighting with cyber , electronic, and information domains.
