Oscars 2026 were held in Los Angeles, USA on Sunday night (early Monday morning in India). Paul Thomas Anderson’s One Battle After Another was crowned the best picture at the 98th Academy Awards. Michael B. Jordan won the best actor and Sinners cintematographer Autumn Durald Arkapaw made history at Oscars as the first female director of photography to win the award. One Battle After Another won six Oscars, including the best director and best adapted screenplay. In the Memoriam segment of Oscars, the Academy honoured the legendary actors who lost their lives last year, One such name included in the list was of legendary Indian actor Dharmendra, who died last year. But, his name was omitted from the on-air tribute.
