The giant of the NCP Ajit Pawar, a lithic leader who was a victim in a plane crash died in the accident on January 28, 2026, in Maharashtra. His flight was on the Mumbai killing himself and three other individuals who were boarding the plane he was in crashed at the Baramati airport.

The chartered plane flew in at 8.45 AM in Baramati runway for an election rally of a Zilla Parishad. The eyewitnesses saw it fighting as the emergency landing failed and it tore into two and fire exploded along the threshold.
