Smriti Mandhana is the first female to get the 10,000 international runs in the history of the sport of cricket and was the record-taker among female cricketers such as Mithali Raj. This was realized when the 29-year-old Indian opener scored this mark on the fourth of T20I against Sri Lanka in Thiruvananthapuram on December 28, 2025, and when she scored this mark on 27 runs off a total of 48balls. Her 281 innings breaks the record of Raj who has 291, Charlotte Edwards of England who has 308 and Suzie Bates of New Zealand who has 314 to make her the fourth woman to hit the milestone in the cricket game.
